Other Services

Sun Quartet Entertainment performs music for more than just weddings. We also perform music suited for birthday parties, anniversaries, dinner parties, client dinners, grand opening events, marketing promotions, corporate parties, Christmas & Holiday parties, conventions, and any other occasion you wish to grace with the sound of elegant music. We play music from a wide range of composers and styles, designed to make your event special. We perform music from the great masters of Classical Music, such as Bach, Handel, Vivaldi, Purcell, Mendelssohn, and Telemann, and a large selection of fine music of other styles as well, including Classical, Ragtime, Showtunes, and Popular Music, specially designed to fit your musical tastes and the intended audience of your event. We perform on acoustical instruments, so intimate occasions are the best venue for our performance, but we usually have no problems being heard at larger events. We do not carry amplification equipment, so we ask you to provide it if needed, especially if your event is larger than 600 people.

Typically, a non-wedding special event or wedding reception is comprised of a 45 minute set of music in the styles of your choosing, and a 15 minute break per hour of performance. Additional hours beyond the first hour are significantly less expensive. A stage for performance is not necessary; an area with four sturdy, armless chairs, good light, and at least an 8 foot by 8 foot section for the musicians to play will do.

For parties and other such events, please book the quartet several weeks before your performance date, especially during the holidays. You may choose to book your date at any time, however, please be advised that the later you wait, the greater the chance that your performance date and time will be taken by another event. Our performance calendar is filled on a first-come, first-served basis, and guaranteed by the return of a contract and a deposit. Prices are based on length of performance by our group, and distance from the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. Please see our Pricing Information page for more details. Planning your musical event

1. Contact our manager at (214) 663-4904 several weeks before your event to see if your date is available.


2. The manager will consult with you, and send you a contract in the mail. Return a copy of the contract after you have read it, with your deposit.


3. Consult with our manager to be sure all parties understand your wishes for your special event. Please keep the manager updated of any changes you may desire before the performance date.


4. Send your full payment before your event or have it hand-delivered on the performance date by a pre-arranged, designated representative. Payment needs to be made before the musicians play. We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express and check for payment.


5. Have an area at least 8 feet by 8 feet prepared for the musicians in the performance area with four sturdy, armless chairs, and good lighting


6. Enjoy the beautiful music at your event!
