Weddings & Receptions

Sun Quartet Entertainment specializes in performing music for all types of weddings, both large and small. Give your wedding a touch of elegance by adding the sounds of beautiful music to it. We play music from a wide range of composers and styles, and design your event to make your wedding a memorable event for your guests. We perform music from such great masters as Bach, Handel, Vivaldi, Purcell, Mendelssohn, Telemann, and many others. We perform a large selection of fine music for receptions as well, including Classical, Ragtime, Showtunes, and Popular Music, specially designed to fit your musical tastes. Typically, a wedding ceremony lasts an hour, and includes 15-30 minutes of Prelude (pre-service) music, the Processionals (music for mothers, grandmothers, bridesmaids, and the bride), Ceremony music (Unity Candle, etc.), and the Recessional and post- Recessional music. We have mass parts available for Catholic ceremonies, and music for Jewish ceremonies as well. Our manager will consult with you to design a set of musical selections that is customized to your desires.

When you are ready to begin planning your wedding music, please contact us for the latest information and to be sent a contract to guarantee your performance date. Our performance calendar is filled on a first-come, first-served basis, and guaranteed by the return of a contract with a deposit. Planning Your Musical Event

1. Contact our manager at (214) 663-4904 to see if your date is available


2. Return a copy of the contract with your deposit. Return of the contract with your deposit guarantees your date is reserved.


3. Select your music. During your complimentary music consultation, we help you select your wedding music and finalize the details of the performance.


4. Send your full payment before your event or have it hand-delivered on the performance date by a pre-arranged, designated representative. Payment needs to be made before the musicians play, and can be in cash, credit card, or check. We now accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express.


5. Have an area at least 8 feet X 8 feet prepared for the musicians in the performance area with four sturdy, armless chairs, and good lighting.
