Jennifer Seagraves- Violin II

Jennifer Seagraves, a former recipient of the Oklahoma State Superintendent's Award for Arts Excellence, received a degree in music education with emphasis in violin and voice from Northeastern State University in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. She is currently the principal second in the Allen Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra, and has been a member of the Fort Smith Symphony Orchestra and the Northeastern Oklahoma Symphony Orchestra. She has performed as a violin soloist with the Metropolitan Winds, and also plays regularly with the Carrollton Chamber Trio. In addition to performing, she maintains a private studio, and co-founded the Carrollton String Orchestra, a teaching orchestra for young people. She is actively involved in music at Valley View Christian Church as a member of the orchestra, a regular piano accompanist, director of the middle school choir, and assistant to the minister of music. She is a member of the American String Teachers Association.
